I’m not even sure I could begin to describe what happened yesterday. I officially start on staff at Revolution church this coming Tuesday, but the guys (and girls) there decided that I should attend their all-day staff meeting yesterday. Keep in mind that I still work third shift at Wal-Mart for the rest of this week. But you just can’t plan for what happened after the meeting…

First - the meeting. The meeting we had was great. I didn’t really contribute much, and when I tried, Gary kept telling me to shut up. Apparently they didn’t hire me to contribute, just to do what I’m told. I can live with that. Everyone ELSE had an awesome time of discussing various and assorted things related to multi-site church. God has some AMAZING things in store for Revolution Church. I’m still amazed that I get to be a part of this thing.

AFTER the meeting, though….I can’t even begin to explain, so I’ll let Gary and Preston do it. First, read this post by the man himself, Preston Porter. After getting that setup, read this post - complete with pictures - by our Pastor, Gary. Then for even more fun, read the second post Gary wrote about it.

Oh, and this was my FIRST experience as part of Revolution staff. My innocence is forever gone.

Needless to say, I didn’t make it to work last night.
